Slavske is the closest resort to Lviv city, at 110 km and the area has a long history in winter sports in Ukraine. In the years 1970 to 1980, the resort had the status classification of FIS and offered slalom ski slopes, giant slalom and super giant on the mountain of Trostyan, with height of 1232m
It is not just Slaske’s proximity to Lviv which attracts so many skiers, but the variety of skiing on offer from different peaks. Mount Troystan, for example, has an irregularity of the lateral side of the mountain that makes it ideal for skiing and offers the opportunity to pick up the track, either for a beginner or for more experienced people who are fond of testing runs.

This mountain is located in Voloysanka above the high class Bear hotel and its neighbour , the world-class Eagle Valley apartment and spa centre complex which is under construction . This mountain of 1072m elevation has 9 slopes and twin chairlift of 2700m.
A new road has been built from Lviv and is being upgraded right past Eagle Valley. This road is being extended into a loop, connecting Eagle Valley to other resorts.

Lviv is an important transportation hub in Ukraine, located at the intersection of major highways, equipped with a dense network of railroads, highways, has air service.
Its international airport has a runway length of 3305 meters which is able to take aircraft type D, capacity 2,000 passengers per hour.
Slavske is the only Ukrainian ski resort with railway access
